Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a friendly young man who has a sunny disposition and enjoys listening to music, listening to books read aloud, and going for long strolls in his neighborhood. In this role, you will help him to improve his communication skills, learn independent living skills, and assist with his personal care. You will spend time reading, playing games, walking, and listening to music with him. He is seeking an upbeat and reliable individual. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience. 

Hours and Days of work: 

Thursdays 9:00 am- 4:00 pm.  Additional shifts may be available as back up for other staff's vacation or sick time.

Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
