Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Newport area with a young man who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. He is looking for a dedicated staff who enjoys hiking and being outside. He requires assistance with transportation to and from hiking events and someone to go hiking with him.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience is a plus but not required. Reliable transportation and an HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Hours will vary based on weather and hiking locations. The pay rate is $25 per hour. This is a part-time position. Indera is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
