1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Clay, NY (KAD – LH)
18-year-old female living in Clay looking for part-time Direct Support Professional to assist her with going out into the community and interacting with her peers. She is looking for a DSP that can take her to Friday night Magic the Gathering in Clay and other community events. She enjoys gaming, does crafts and has a cat.
The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate should be active and willing to go on long walks, go to the library, take her Friends connections events and Festivals as well as other activities of interest.
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.
Looking for service on Thursdays and Fridays ideally from4-10 pm.
Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
Location; Clay, NY
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
