1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Brewerton NY (KAD – IS)

45-year-old female living in Brewerton looking for part-time Direct Support Professional to assist her with going out into the community and interacting with her peers. She is looking for a DSP to go out into the community to engage in activities and events of her choice. She enjoys going out for coffee and shopping at the mall and other venues like Barnes and Noble and She is interested in potential volunteering activities of her choice. She likes to go walking at Long Brach Park weather permitting.

The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate should be active and willing to take long walks, go to parks and the library, shopping as well as other activities of interest.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Looking for services Tuesday -Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, up to 8 hours a week.

Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
