Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an active young woman who enjoys listening to music and spending time with animals.  She has recently begun attending Inclusive U at Syracuse University.  In this role, you will help her become more involved in community and campus events as well as supporting her with improving her independent living skills.  She is interested in learning how to cook and wants to engage more regularly in physical fitness activities.  She is seeking a friendly, motivating individual with strong organizational skills who can accompany her to events, engage in activities of interest to her, and will help her to succeed in her educational pursuits.  Please respond with a resume or summary of experience. 

Hours and Days of work:

The schedule is flexible and can be worked out with the family upon hire.  

Payrate:

$22.00 per hour and 0.76 per mile reimbursement.  Indera is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

 
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
