What You’ll DoIn this role, you will support the daily activities of adolescent males in programming using effective behavioral management principles and exercise sound judgment during critical or crisis situations.Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Living & Home Care: Assist with daily activities, including meal planning/preparation, housekeeping, laundry, personal hygiene, and overall home maintenance.
• Community Engagement: Transport and support individuals at community events, outings, and recreational activities (e.g., local festivals, dining out, movies).
• Skill Building & Decision-Making: Guide individuals in developing life skills, building relationships, and practicing critical thinking for personal health and safety.
• Safety & Crisis Response: Monitor and respond to crisis situations following trauma-informed care principles and organizational on-call procedures; report suspected neglect or abuse immediately.
• Communication & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, Service Logs, MARS, and Electronic Health Records; communicate routinely with supervisors and Supported Living Coaches.
• Medication Administration: Supervise and document medication administration per organizational standards.

QualificationsRequired:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer and internet literacy (email, time tracking, data entry)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Compliance with state and federal background screening requirements

Preferred:

• Prior experience in human services or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and physically assist individuals as needed
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
