Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man 22yrs old in the Liverpool, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is open-minded, energetic, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community.

The DSP will assist him in navigating around the community; DSP will assist with independent living skills. DSP will encourage him to try new hobbies/activities. DSP will help Increase Independence.

Hours- days may vary –

Looking for roughly 20 hours per week Respite services at $22.50 per hour

We are seeking individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be a plus. Reliable transportation is required. A background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire through the non‑profit agency.

Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
