Indera (formerly ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite in the Auburn area to a 25-year-old young adult woman with a developmental disability. Her family is looking for a dedicated, active individual to provide her with support and supervision, both at home and in the community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accompanying her during community outings, supporting her with health and safety needs, and providing transportation as needed.

We are looking for an individual who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a high school diploma or GED are required. A background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

This position offers 8 hours per week with a flexible schedule to be agreed upon with the family. The pay rate is $19 per hour. Indera is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

 
Qualifications:
Must have a valid drivers license 
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
