We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Direct Support Professional to support a 27-Year-old individual in Fayetteville NY. This role focuses on social skills, physical activities, and recreational activities.

This individual enjoys arts and crafts, bowling, karate, zoo, YMCA, MOST and museum as well on occasions walking his neighbor’s dog.

This ideal candidate is outgoing, crafty person, and enjoys visiting variety of places in the community. This candidate should be willing to visit attractions in the community that consist of being active and crafty.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency

Hours and days of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm-3pm

Starting pay: Starting pay 19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Location: Fayetteville NY

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.

· Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills

· No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.

· New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.

· Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.

 
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
