Job DetailsJob Location: Fulton - Fulton, NY 13069Position Type: Per DiemEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyIndera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite services to a woman in her late 30’s in Fulton, NY.

The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in community settings while her family receives a well-deserved respite. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to assisting with transportation, support during community outings/events, and assistance with increasing independent living skills.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient, enthusiastic and that can provide clear and direct expectations of services. DSP should feel comfortable participating in physical activities, trying new experiences, and helping her explore activities of her interest. Applicants must be comfortable working around dogs and cats. A love for Karaoke is a plus!

Reliable transportation, valid NYS driver’s license and a HS diploma/GED are required. All new hires must complete a five-hour initial training course online; the training rate is $17/hour.

Hours: No early morning; Days and Times to be determined for the right fit. Up to 10 hours per week.

Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license 
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
