Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite in the Syracuse area to a 13-year-old young lady. Her family is looking for a dedicated, active individual to provide her with support and supervision, both at home and in the community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision at home, accompanying her in the community, supporting her with health and safety needs, and providing transportation as needed.

We are looking for an individual who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic and able to work independently. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a high school diploma or GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by Indera.

Hours would be conducted in the evenings and weekends. Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with the family. The pay rate is $21 per hour, at 15 hours per week.

Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license 
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
