As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will lead the development, execution, and optimization of integrated digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results while supporting client sustainability objectives. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, data-driven marketing professional who can connect audience insights, digital innovation, and flawless execution to create meaningful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Strategist owns the delivery and effectiveness of digital strategies, tactics, and campaigns for ERM Marketing & Communications Agency clients. This role serves as the bridge between strategic planning and technical execution, ensuring digital initiatives are aligned with client goals, optimized for performance, and executed accurately, on time, and within budget.

This individual understands each client's objectives, market position, audience needs, and sustainability priorities while translating those insights into measurable digital success.

What Your Impact Is:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and oversee comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client goals and sustainability objectives.

• Lead projects from strategy development through campaign implementation, optimization, and performance analysis.

• Represent ERM Marketing & Communications Agency in business development conversations, project kickoffs, client presentations, and progress meetings.

• Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through innovative digital strategies and emerging technologies.

Performance & Accountability

• Own campaign performance, ROI, and overall effectiveness across all digital initiatives.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable objectives that align with client business goals.

• Continuously monitor, QA, A/B test, optimize, and refine campaigns to maximize results.

• Analyze data and insights to provide strategic recommendations and improve audience engagement and business outcomes.

• Ensure key stakeholders are informed of campaign performance, progress, risks, and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Account, Research, Creative, and Digital teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions.

• Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and according to scope.

• Recommend and consult on new digital strategies that improve campaign effectiveness and client outcomes.

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor and develop junior digital marketing professionals.

• Direct and supervise digital specialists, including SEO/SEM analysts, paid media managers, and other digital practitioners.

• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous learning, and performance excellence.

Digital Excellence

• Lead website strategy, development, optimization, and conversion rate improvement initiatives.

• Oversee marketing automation strategy and implementation.

• Manage vendor relationships, including publications, influencers, technology partners, and other external resources.

• Lead the development of client presentations, scopes of work, and pricing proposals.

• Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices.

What You'll Bring:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience developing and implementing integrated digital marketing strategies.

• Experience managing and optimizing PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic, and other digital advertising campaigns.

• Strong understanding of paid, owned, and earned media channels.

• Experience establishing and managing digital marketing KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.

• Experience with website strategy, development, and optimization initiatives.

• Experience using WordPress, HubSpot, and other website or marketing technology platforms.

• Experience analyzing Google Analytics and other digital reporting platforms.

• Knowledge of marketing automation and lead nurturing campaign development.

• Experience implementing SEO/GEO best practices, including keyword research and site optimization.

• Understanding of customer engagement strategies and market insights.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, and related digital technologies.

• Strong budget management experience across paid and owned channels.

• Excellent presentation, client relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to sustainability and the ability to apply sustainability principles to client work.

Preferred

• Agency or consulting experience supporting multiple clients and complex marketing programs.

• Experience leading digital teams and mentoring marketing professionals.

• Experience managing influencer, publication, and other third-party vendor relationships.

• Experience supporting sustainability, ESG, environmental, or purpose-driven client initiatives.

• Establish performance metrics and ensure campaigns deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Lead website, digital advertising, marketing automation, SEO, and analytics initiatives.

• Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and third-party partners.

• Present recommendations, performance updates, and strategic plans to clients and stakeholders.

• Mentor digital team members and support professional development.

• Identify and implement emerging technologies and marketing innovations to drive results.

• Ensure all digital deliverables meet quality, performance, and brand standards.
