GCU Traditional Campus located in Phoenix, AZ:
- Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2027 semester (Class start date 01/04/2027)
Course: Digital Audio Workstation
This course introduces DAW software and challenges students to begin the process of recording multi-track sessions. Students practice tracking, editing, mixing, and producing recordings according to assigned projects. Students practice creating and implementing backing tracks for a worship service.

- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
- Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
- Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum: BA in a related area AND
- 3 years of experience working with Digital Audio Workstations OR
- professional certification and 6 years of documented professional experience in Digital Audio Workstations.
- 3 years of experience working with Digital Audio Workstations OR
- Preferred: Master's degree in a related area AND
- 3 years of professional experience working with Digital Audio Workstations.
