Work Schedule and Shift Premiums
- Varies based on patient needs | 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Weekend premium is $2.00/hour
Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Responsibilities
- Performs the nutrition care process on patients who are at nutrition risk: Assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation
- Provide nutrition counseling to patients, family and caretakers after assessing current lifestyle. Provides follow up, as appropriate, to this counseling (inpatient and outpatient)
- Apply new research, information and concepts to daily work
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and implement patient care and nutrition education
- Perform nutrition related presentations to the community and staff, as needed
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- Comply with Hospital policies, accreditation requirements and quality assurance initiatives
- Is flexible and available when emergency situations require impromptu staffing arrangements
