The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving food to residents while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards. They must follow state and federal regulations as well as directions from the Certified Dietary Manager.

Job Details: Job Location: Rockport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Rockport, TX, Position Type: PRN, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Primary Responsibilities
The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.
Essential Functions
Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
Preparing and serving beverages
Setting up and passing trays for meal service
Stocking snack cart
Bussing of tables and trays
Cleaning the kitchen work area
Dishwashing
Follow proper handwashing guidelines
Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director
Qualifications: Educational/Training Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Licensing Requirements
Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate
Experience Requirements
Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred
