AUTO HAUS is looking for a skilled Diesel Technician to join our dedicated team remotely from Yorktown. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the automotive industry, focusing on the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related systems.
As a Diesel Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency in our operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing top-notch service and quality solutions to our clients. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29 to $32, along with a supportive work environment that values your skills and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles
- Document all services performed and parts used
- Test and evaluate vehicle performance post-repair
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality
- Stay updated on the latest diesel technologies and repair techniques
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in diesel technology
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret diagnostic tools and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
