About the Job:
The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
Order parts and supplies as needed.
Operate forklifts and other equipment when required.
Other duties as assigned.
This is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards.
Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
QualificationsJob Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in equipment or vehicle maintenance.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Welding experience preferred.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Valid driver’s license. Proficient in English for communication, following highway signs, and completing reports.
CDL driving experience from military service accepted.
