Job Summary and Primary Objectives:

Maintain company objectives for die control with the use of inventory and ordering skills. Make improvements in methods of die control within the department. Take care of all tooling movement. Tag and deliver coils daily. Other duties as required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Unpacking and inspecting all tooling upon arrival. 
Checking tool life for all tooling and keeping appropriate records. 
Maintain all tooling drawings as needed. 
Work with local die vendors for quoting and ordering. 
Support weekly order for tooling. 
Monitor all aspects of tooling inventory. 
Track purchase orders and make changes and adjustments as needed. 
Maintain a die address list for all tooling. 
Coil tagging and delivery.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Skills and Abilities:

Good communication skills.
Some computer skills.
Excellent organization skills.
An understanding of how to read tooling drawings. 
Highly motivated work ethic and positive attitude.
Forklift capable.

Education and Experience:

Inventory control experience desirable.
