Dialysis Clinical Technician - Macomb Regional Dialysis Center - Contingent

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dialysis Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in patient care and a passion for helping individuals with kidney disease. As a Clinical Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing dialysis treatments and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

• **Deliver expert dialysis treatments** by following prescribed protocols and physician orders like a pro
• **Keep a close eye on patients** during treatment—monitoring vital signs and staying alert to any changes in their condition
• **Master the dialysis machines** by setting them up, operating them with confidence, and troubleshooting any hiccups that come your way
• **Administer medications and intravenous fluids** exactly as prescribed by physicians, with precision and care
• **Be a patient educator** by helping patients and their families understand dialysis procedures, dietary needs, and self-care strategies in a way that actually makes sense
• **Document like a champion** by maintaining accurate and complete medical records that capture all treatment activities and patient progress
• **Champion infection control** by ensuring the dialysis unit stays safe and clean, following all protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a dialysis technician training program preferred.
• Certification as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required within 18-months of employment.
