Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist-Per Diem- Evening 12 hr. shift

Northwell is New York State’s largest private employer with over 104,000 employees — including members of Northwell Health Physician Partners — who are working to change health care for the better.  The Radiologic Technologist works under the direction of a radiologist utilizing radiographic, fluoroscopic and other high-tech imaging equipment.  These Technologists are graduates of 2 or 4 year programs.  Radiologic Technologists must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State of New York. Population served based on scope of services in the department.   Essential Job Qualifications: 

• Education:  Graduate from an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Experience: Entry level to experienced  
• License: NYS License / A.R.R.T. (R)- Preferred

Working Conditions:

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk

Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
