About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Mobile Device Support Specialist to join our team. The Mobile Device Support Specialist provides onsite technical support, configuration, and troubleshooting for mobile devices across the organization. This role ensures secure, reliable access to mobile tools and services and serves as the primary point of contact for mobile device issues. The specialist will manage device lifecycle activities, enforce mobile security standards, and support enterprise mobility through Workspace ONE and other mobile platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for mobile devices (iOS, Android, tablets, and peripherals).
• Administer and support Omnissa Workspace ONE (UEM), including device enrollment using Apple Business Manager and Android Zero Touch, profile management, compliance enforcement, and issue remediation.
• Assist end users with mobile apps, connectivity, account configurations, and security settings.
• Perform device imaging, updates, replacements, and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain mobile security compliance and implement best practices.
• Respond to and resolve mobile support tickets in a timely, professional manner. 
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, configurations, and support activities.
• Provide recommendations to improve mobile support processes and overall user experience. 
• Support onsite events or activities requiring mobile device configuration or troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience where 1.5 years of experience can be used to account for 1 year of higher education.   A candidate with no degree would need a total of 9 years of experience to qualify. 
• Three years of hands-on experience supporting mobile devices and mobile technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Candidates with experience in government will be favored.
• Demonstrated experience with Workspace ONE (UEM) administration and troubleshooting or another major MDM solution.
• Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and enterprise mobility security practices.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Experience managing work in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) tools such as Lookout for Work. Also familiar with vulnerability/threat management activities such as CVE scoring and zero days as it relates to mobility.
• Experience working in an enterprise, government, or regulated environment.
• Experience with drafting knowledge articles and user guides.
• Familiarity with additional MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune or similar.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Mobility+, VMware Workspace ONE certifications, Apple ACSP/ACMT, or related credentials.

Background Requirements: Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or United States Marshal Service extensive background check. 

Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Location: Arlington, VA

Work Arrangement:

• Ability to work onsite daily at the Arlington VA location and support an in-person user community.
• The shift is 8 hours during core business hours which are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday excluding Federal holidays.
