Internship Description 

Cheekwood Development Internships are designed for undergraduate students or recent graduates seeking to gain experience in fundraising and/or administration at a nonprofit arts and cultural organization. Working primarily with Cheekwood’s Development Team, the intern will participate in all aspects of development, from identifying and cultivation to soliciting and stewardship. 

Responsibilities 

• Support donor stewardship by helping with mailings and delivering gratitude packets and assisting with stewardship events.
• Assist with Prospect Research to help identify potential new Cheekwood Society supporters and business sponsors.
• Identify and Solicit small businesses for sponsorship of events.

Requirements

Hours/Time Commitment 

• 15 hours per week/12 weeks; 
• Internships will run from January 25, 2027 – April 30, 2027.

Education 

• Junior or Senior at the undergraduate level, or recent graduate from an accredited university.

Area of Study 

• Open to students pursuing degrees in Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Arts Administration, or other related fields. 
• Students interested in fundraising, relationship management, sales, research, event planning, or nonprofit leadership are encouraged to apply.
