About the Role:Art of Drawers Charleston/Myrtle Beach/Savannah is looking for a creative and driven Design Consultant to join our growing team in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC. In this role, you'll help homeowners transform their spaces with custom storage solutions that are as functional as they are stunning. If you love design, people, and the satisfaction of turning a client's vision into reality — this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs and present custom closet and storage design solutions
- Develop and present detailed design plans and product proposals using design software
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales and design process
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
- Follow up with leads, referrals, and past clients to generate new business opportunities
- Stay current on product offerings, design trends, and competitor landscape
Requirements:
- Previous experience in interior design, home improvement sales, or a related field preferred
- Strong consultative sales skills with a proven ability to close
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency with design or CAD software is a plus
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home appointments
- Passion for home organization, interior design, and delivering exceptional client experiences
