This is a great opportunity for an experienced dental assistant who enjoys working with children and wants a flexible part-time schedule while being part of a collaborative clinical team.
⭐ What We’re Looking For:
- Current Radiology License REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience REQUIRED
- Pediatric dental and/or OR experience preferred
- Highly organized and able to stay on top of multiple details
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Compassionate and comfortable working with pediatric patients
- Willingness to learn and support the clinical team
- Willingness to travel

Dr. Edwards' goal is to provide a pleasant visit to the dental office promoting the establishment of trust and confidence in children that lasts a lifetime.
Techniques and Treatments
Children need different treatments and prevention methods than adults. It is these treatments that will set the groundwork to ensure children have healthy mouths when they grow up. Experts in pediatric dentistry, like Dr. Michelle Edwards, will be able to offer support in the area of bad oral habits such as thumb sucking, the alignment of the teeth and jaws, advice for diet and nutritional needs, and identify conditions that may have passed from the mother to her child.
She will clean your children’s teeth, repair defects and damage, prevent cavities, and give fluoride treatments. Dr. Edwards will also keep an eye on the effects of diabetes and gum disease, for example, and watch carefully for any changes. This way, she can provide the necessary preventative treatments to give your child the best chance of having a healthy mouth.
