We're looking for an experienced, personable Dental Receptionist to join our busy, established practice on a part-time or full-time basis. If you know how to keep a dental front office organized, enjoy connecting with patients, and can confidently manage scheduling, patient questions, and day-to-day administrative responsibilities, we'd love to meet you.

About Our Practice

Our modern, multi-specialty practice provides general, cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, and orthodontic dentistry to patients throughout Farmingville and the surrounding community.

With an active patient base and a large team of dentists, hygienists, and support professionals, you'll be joining an established practice where the front office plays an essential role in keeping patients and providers connected throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience 
• Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and respond to patient questions 
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete front-office documentation 
• Verify patient information and assist with basic insurance and financial questions 
• Process payments and communicate practice policies clearly and professionally 
• Coordinate with providers and the clinical team to support efficient patient flow 
• Follow up with patients regarding appointments and recommended care 
• Maintain an organized front office while protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA standards 

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of dental office/front desk experience required; 2+ years preferred 
• Knowledge of dental terminology, scheduling, insurance, and patient coordination 
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills 
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a busy dental environment 
• Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused 
• Dental software and accurate data-entry skills 
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus 
• High school diploma or equivalent required
