Cornerstone Dental Health is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Office Assistant/Floater to join our growing team in Quincy, IL. Schedule
- Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly bonus opportunities

Position Responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant/Floater, you will support both clinical and front office operations, including:
- Greeting patients and serving as a welcoming point of contact
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Checking patients in and out efficiently
- Assisting with patient care coordination and communication
- Managing patient records accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Processing patient payments, insurance verification, and claims assistance
- Providing chairside dental assisting support
- Performing sterilization and infection control duties, including maintenance of equipment such as ultrasonic cleaners, Statim units, autoclaves, and vacuum systems
- Supporting daily administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Utilizing strong computer, phone, and customer service skills to enhance the patient experience
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working with computers and phones
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Dental experience preferred, but not required
