Overview
Pure Dental is looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Dental Assistant / Front Desk Float to join our growing practice in Woodbridge, VA. This is a unique position for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working in both the clinical and front-office areas of a dental practice. You will help wherever the team needs you most—from assisting our doctors and supporting sterilization and room turnover to helping with phones, scheduling, check-in/check-out, and other front-desk responsibilities.
Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Chairside dental assisting
- Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
- Sterilization and maintaining clinical flow
- Taking dental X-rays
- Supporting doctors and hygienists as needed
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Assisting with patient check-out
- Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front office
- Stepping into different areas of the practice as needed to keep the day running smoothly
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ years of hands-on dental assisting and front desk experience is required
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with patients
- Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to multitask in a busy dental environment
- A true team player with a positive attitud
- Comfortable learning both clinical and administrative systems
