O-G Family & General Dentistry has proudly served the Ottawa and Glandorf communities since 1979, providing comprehensive dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. We are seeking a Dental Assistant or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team and become a long-term part of our practice.

Full-Time
Office Hours:
- Monday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Occasional Fridays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Assist hygienists as needed
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms
- Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment
- Stock operatories and clinical supplies
- Assist with shipping and receiving of cases and materials
- Seat and dismiss patients
- Make patient reminder calls when needed
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the practice
EFDA Responsibilities (if applicable)
- Perform expanded function duties as permitted by Ohio regulations
- Place and finish restorations
- Support doctors and team members with advanced clinical procedures
- Assist chairside when needed and remain flexible in helping across clinical functions

Qualifications
- Dental Assistant or EFDA experience preferred, but not required
