Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Champaign, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers with every stop. • Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers throughout the Champaign area in a timely and professional manner
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and on-time arrivals
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and any special instructions
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service at each delivery stop, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition and are placed appropriately at delivery locations
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct that reflects positively on our organization
• Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing delivery schedules and customer needs

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to navigate using GPS technology and local knowledge of the Champaign area (preferred)
• Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and handle packages of varying sizes
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Positive attitude, resilience, and ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting (preferred)
