The delivery driver is responsible for safely operating a route truck to deliver beverage products to retail accounts. They must also manage invoices, collect payments, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Job Description
Job Details: Job Location: Champagne Beverage Co - Madisonville, LA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. The employee must safely operate a Route Truck weighing more than 26,000 pounds. A Class A Drivers license is required. This is a salaried position.
The driver must be able to:
Hold a Class A CDL
Hold a valid Medical Certificate with MSCR regulation 49 CFR 391.41.391.49.
Must have a good driving record
Reports to work at scheduled report time
Must be able to repetitively lift 45 pounds and 167 pounds occasionally
Must be able to go up and down ramps and stairs frequently
Must be able to load and push a dolly with 8 to 15 cases per load
Must be in good physical shape: stand, bend stoop ,squat, push, pull and exert well-paced mobility for periods of 8 to 12 hours per day
Fill cold shelves, hot shelves build displays, rotate stock
Deliver beverage products - mainly beer, tea, water, juices, energy drinks to retail accounts while providing exceptional customer service
Create invoices and collect for products delivered
Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers and sales personnel.
