We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team in Dahlonega, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering exceptional service and smiles to our customers with every stop. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver packages and products to customers throughout the Dahlonega area in a timely and professional manner
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time while meeting delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and any special instructions or issues
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition and are delivered to the correct locations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and compliant operations
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects positively on our organization
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet business demands and seasonal fluctuations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of driving history if you are 18 years old; 1 year of driving history if you are 19 or older
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery operations
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check meeting company-specific standards
- Pass a criminal background check
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous delivery or customer service experience
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization tools
- Knowledge of the Dahlonega area and surrounding regions
- Experience with package handling and logistics
- Positive attitude with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
