Delivery Assistant

Become part of our team! We are seeking a Full-time and Part-time Seasonal Delivery Assistant for a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other. This position runs from October 2025 – May 2026 to include weekends and holidays.

Job Summary:  The Delivery Assistant shall be responsible for the receipt and delivery of food, beverage, and general supply items for the Club and packages for Club Members.  Assistance with general operation of purchasing, shipping, and dry cleaning services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Log in and prepare all incoming parcels/overnights.
• Deliver all parcels/overnights within a timely manner to club members 
• Must possess a valid driver license and eligible to insure
• Deliver food items to appropriate outlets in a timely manner safely by standards
• Receive inventory items and keep bay area clear of clutter
• Clean and maintain golf cart and Purchasing van on a weekly basis
• Pick up outgoing FedEx/UPS packages from all outlets by 2pm
• Keep walk-in cooler and freezer clean and clear of clutter
• Deliver par inventory items to outlets submitting a requisition form
• Assist with basic office duties
• Report any delivery issues or vehicle concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Must have commitment to follow all local and corporate policies
• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner
• May require adjusted work schedules to meet deadlines
• Regular attendance and timeliness are required

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.  Must have the ability to move heavy objects. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Must be physically present.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous hospitality industry experience is helpful, especially in purchasing, shipping/receiving, or food/beverage.
