What You’ll Do:

As a Deli Team Member, you will be the friendly face of our deli counter, helping our customers discover delicious food while ensuring our department shines.

• Connect with Customers: Provide exceptional service by warmly greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with purchases at the counter, on the floor, or over the phone.
• Craft Delicious Food: Prepare fresh, crowd-pleasing cold salads, dips, and grab-and-go favorites like wraps, sandwiches, pizzas, and custom party trays.
• Showcase Quality: Package, wrap, price, and beautifully merchandise deli products to make our display cases look irresistible.
• Keep It Fresh: Maintain product knowledge, check dates for peak freshness, and properly rotate stock.
• Safety First: Safely operate kitchen equipment (slicers, ovens, fryers, knives) and maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate clearly
• Comfortable working with the public and greeting, speaking with, and assisting customers
• Attention to detail, ensuring duties are completed correctly and on time

Education & Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Some previous deli or food service experience, highly preferred
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, twisting, lifting, bending, and reaching
• Occasional instances of pushing, pulling, and squatting
• Must be able to frequently lift 10-30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
