The 2027 Ulta Beauty Internship is a structured summer program designed to develop future talent and provide interns with a unique and impactful development experience. This program is tailored for rising college Juniors and Seniors, offering Corporate, Field, and Distribution Center internship tracks. The internship will be hybrid for Corporate interns and in-person for Distribution Center and Field interns. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Ulta Beauty’s operations while contributing to business needs, engaging in meaningful projects, and broadening their professional development. The internship program provides real-world experience directly related to the academic discipline and career goals, offering a better understanding of career options.  

• Hands-on experience working as a member of a specific department, team, or location. 

• Assigned projects to accelerate learning of key functions and processes. 

• Cross-functional exposure to various departments. 

• A comprehensive overview of the company's structure and strategy. 

• Tailored professional development sessions and valuable networking opportunities. 

• Capstone presentation to leadership, showing project outcomes and recommendations. 

 
TEAM OVERVIEW: 

There is a lot of work happening behind the scenes to keep ULTA Beauty running smoothly and efficiently. And our distribution centers are integral to the company's overall success. Thousands of products make their way to our stores and e-commerce customers from our distribution operations. We currently have seven 300,000+ square foot centers in Bolingbrook, IL; Greenwood, IN; Dallas, TX; Fresno, CA, Jacksonville, FL; Greer, SC; and Chambersburg, PA. We continue to make investments in supply chain, facilities, and technology. In preparation for our summer internship program, we are seeking applicants for our distribution centers. 

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Helping to identify operational opportunities through observations  

• Collect and compile data 

• Data analysis and improvement recommendations to support the business goals 

• Solving practical problems 

• Presentations 

• Leading & coaching teams 

• Project management and team collaboration 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate university in the summer of 2027. 

• Previous work experience and active involvement with on-campus organizations or activities. 

• Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
