About the Role:Join Pathways Career Services as a Day Habilitation Instructor, where you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized habilitation plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide support and guidance in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client activities and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field.
- Degree in social work, psychology, or a related area preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
