MULTI-LEVEL OPPORTUNITY

This position is posted at two levels. Final placement, title and compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. An offer may be made at either Data Analytics Consultant II or Data Analytics Senior Consultant I level.

You will use data, reporting, visualization, and storytelling to influence decisions, improve performance, and help leaders solve business challenges. The scope and level of ownership will vary by job level, as outlined below.

About the Distribution Analytics Team

• Team partners with sales, strategy, and business leaders to deliver analytics, reporting, and actionable insights that improve agency performance and support profitable growth. We do more than build dashboards. We help the business understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions to take next.

• Key stakeholder groups include Field Sales Organization, Distribution Strategy and Business Architecture, Program and Deployment teams, and Distribution and Agency leadership partners.

Which Level Best Fits You?

CONSULTANT II: Best suited for an analytics professional who can independently deliver defined analyses and reporting, partner with stakeholders, and translate data into practical recommendations.

SENIOR CONSULTANT I: Best suited for an experienced analytics professional who can lead more complex or ambiguous work, shape analytical direction, and influence business decisions through recommendations and storytelling.

• You balance analytical thinking with strong communication and can turn findings into recommendations that help the business take action.

• At either level, you will contribute to better decisions and improved business performance, with the Senior Consultant I role carrying broader complexity, ownership, and influence.

Common Core Responsibilities

• Analyze business questions and deliver actionable insights.

• Compile, organize, query, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.

• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.

• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and performance measurement tools.

• Use SQL to query and manipulate data and create analytics-ready datasets.

• Apply data quality and governance best practices.

• Monitor business performance and evaluate key initiatives.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and solve business challenges.

• Present findings through clear visualizations, data storytelling, and business-focused recommendations.

• Manage multiple analytics assignments and contribute to continuous improvement and analytics best practices.

 Level-Specific Scope and Responsibilities

CONSULTANT II:  Responsible for leveraging data and analytics to answer complex questions and influence distribution strategy. 
 

Responsibilities:

• Complete analyses, recurring reporting, dashboard enhancements, and performance measurement assignments.

• Work with stakeholders to clarify business questions, gather requirements, and translate needs into analytical outputs.

• Apply established analytical methods, data standards, and governance practices.

• Identify meaningful trends and communicate practical recommendations to team members and business partners.

• Present findings to team members, project partners, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Working knowledge with SQL

• Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or a similar tool.

• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and deliver multiple assignments.

SENIOR CONSULTANT I: Support complex ambiguous analytical initiatives, define analytical approaches, drive stakeholder alignment, and influence business direction through data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Complete complex analyses, recurring reporting, dashboard enhancements, and performance measurement assignments.

• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to frame problems and identify opportunities.

• Connect insights across datasets, initiatives, and performance indicators to explain business drivers.

• Develop recommendations that influence strategy, priorities, and business action.

• Anticipate data quality, governance, and measurement risks and guide practical solutions.

• Contribute analytics best practices and help strengthen the quality and consistency of team deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Strong SQL and advanced data analysis skills.

• Experience building and improving dashboards, reports, and performance measurement solutions using Power BI or a similar tool.

• Identify meaningful trends and communicate insights

• Experience independently leading multiple analytics projects and influencing business decisions through insights.

Preferred Qualifications for Either Level

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in insurance, sales, distribution, or financial analytics.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or data lakehouse environments.

• Working knowledge of Python, R, or another programming language.

• Experience influencing business strategy through data-driven insights.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 70,100.00 - 121,475.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
