Schedule: Saturdays 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Position Summary

The part-time Customer Service Representative, under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, is responsible for initial customer contacts as well as processing of paperwork, documenting revenue transactions (aviation fuel and oil purchases, and flight merchandise sales). Representative also handles cash, answers telephones and directs Line Service on movement of aircraft.  

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting pilots and passengers and directing them to the appropriate place/person
• Handling all incoming telephone calls
• Communicating with all aviation departments to assist with customer requests
• Accepting materials or deliveries brought to the front lobby
• Processing fuel and oil purchases
• Maintaining counter tickets
• Processing flight merchandise sales
• Processing credit card purchases
• Balancing cash register totals and daily fuel sheet logs at the end of each shift

Qualifications

Knowledge, Training, and Experience

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Working on High School education, or equivalent
• Able to work evenings and weekends and holidays

• Above average interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the company and with clients/visitors 
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision or guidance
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Above average proficiency in the use of office machinery
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
