As a Customer Service Representative – Fire Suppression, you will support Potter Global Technologies’ Fire Suppression business unit by processing customer orders, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. The role works closely with sales, operations, and other internal teams to ensure orders are handled accurately, customer needs are met, and a positive customer experience is maintained. What You’ll Do
Enter, verify, and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriate pricing, and timely processing.
Deliver prompt, professional customer support through phone, email, and follow-up communications.
Respond to customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and identify opportunities to support additional customer needs.
Maintain accurate order documentation, customer records, and correspondence with strong attention to detail.
Partner with Regional Sales Managers and sales teams to provide product information and support timely customer responses.
Process customer returns efficiently and professionally resolve escalated issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate customer communications, including order updates, follow-ups, and proactive outreach.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless service and order fulfillment.
Support marketing initiatives, including the maintenance and distribution of regional mailing lists, as needed.
Ensure all communications align with company standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships through responsive, accurate, and professional service.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: What You Bring
Experience That Drives Success
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
1+ year of experience in customer service, order management, inside sales support, or a related field preferred.

Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address customer needs professionally and effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to providing clear and responsive customer support.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify solutions and escalate issues when appropriate.
Proficiency with standard business systems and software, including CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications.
