Job DetailsJob Location: Santa Maria Betteravia - Santa Maria, CA 93456Salary Range: $19.40 - $19.40 HourlyValley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a Customer Service Representative position to work the 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM shift at our Santa Maria location.  The Customer Service Representative operates a retail facility by providing top notch customer service, while accurately transacting sales of fuel and merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides top quality customer service at all times to every customer.
Performs daily station cleaning and maintains a safe work environment.
Complies with company standards on carding customer for all age restricted products.
Prepares food & drinks, cleans, stocks and maintains food prep area in compliance with health codes.
Stocks and merchandise as instructed by management.
Conducts Loss Prevention Observations, Loss Investigation and Near Loss Investigations

 QualificationsRequired Skills/Experience:

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and team building skills.
Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work unaccompanied, standing without defined break periods. Occasionally working extended shifts, as assigned by management.
Ability to bend, twist and lift at least 50 lbs. in narrow spaces.
Ability to work in varying outdoor climates and in-store cooler environments.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least (6) months previous cash handling and customer service experience.
Positive, outgoing personality.
Proficient verbal & written communication skills.
