We don’t just sell furniture; we curate stories. Our 60,000-square-foot showroom is a treasure trove of high-end vintage pieces, fine art, and antiques. Our customers aren’t here for a "quick buy"—they are here for an experience. They want to be heard, understood, and pampered as they hunt for the perfect piece for their home.

The Philosophy: We have eliminated the traditional, high-pressure commission model. We want our team to focus entirely on the client journey. We are looking for "Social Butterflies" who provide white-glove service and build authentic relationships. When our customers feel "shmoozed" and catered to (without the pressure to buy), we all win.

Compensation & Rewards

We reward the quality of the relationship, not just the transaction. Our model provides a high-floor guaranteed base with an exciting, uncapped team incentive plan.

• Experienced Professionals: We are seeking seasoned service or design professionals for whom we target a total annual compensation of $45,000 – $65,000+ (scaled based on expertise and performance).

• Entry-Level & Growth: For those with the perfect personality but less experience, we offer a starting "growth" rate of $18/hour, targeting $45,000+ in total annual compensation as you build your expertise.

• Quarterly Performance Incentives: You will participate in two distinct bonus pools:

  1. The Experience Scorecard: Rewarding team excellence in metrics like becoming a "Customer Champion" (client reviews), "The Welcoming Committee" (onboarding new clients), and completion of daily tasks.

  2. The Company Performance Pool: When the store hits its revenue and operational goals, the whole team gets a payout.

• The "No-Ceiling" Accelerator: For every 5% the company exceeds its monthly sales target, we add $1,500 to the quarterly bonus pool.

• Part-Time Inclusion: PT team members share in all incentive plans, pro-rated based on hours worked.

Schedule & Flexibility

We believe in consistent scheduling so you can plan your life, but as a premier retail destination, we are at our best when the showroom is full of energy on the weekends.

• Full-Time Roles: Consistent 5-day-a-week schedules. To ensure we have the "A-Team" on the floor during our busiest times, full-time schedules require one weekend day per week (either Saturday or Sunday).

• Part-Time Roles: We use part-time positions to supplement shifts based on volume needs. We strive for consistent weekly blocks—such as "Weekends Only" or specific days to meet your needs.

The Role: What You’ll Do

As a Customer Experience Guide, you are the face of our brand, handling both the forward-facing magic and the essential administrative execution that keeps the company running.

• The Art of the Showroom Shmooze: Greet in-store guests with genuine warmth, offer tours of our latest acquisitions, and ensure every physical visitor feels like a VIP.

• Digital Clienteling & Virtual Hospitality: We do a massive amount of business online through our website and platforms like Shopify, Ebay, Etsy, and Chairish. Online inquiries aren't just internet traffic—they are real people who deserve the exact same high-touch attention, enthusiasm, and care as an in-store guest. You will utilize modern clienteling strategies to build long-distance relationships, answer virtual questions thoroughly, and turn online browsers into lifelong clients.

• Design Matchmaking: This is where your passion for aesthetics and interior design comes alive. You will act as an intuitive styling partner, listening closely to our clients' design dreams and helping them solve unique aesthetic puzzles. Many of our guests fall in love with our inventory but need inspiration on how to seamlessly blend statement pieces into contemporary environments. You will use your creative flair to spark their imagination, paint a vibrant picture of what’s possible, and connect them with one-of-a-kind treasures. For example, you will help clients visualize how a 19th-century antique or a mid-century modern masterpiece fits into their specific home and lifestyle.

• Operational Execution & Data Precision: It’s not all just talking and socializing; the backend logistics require absolute administrative follow-through. You are fully responsible for executing operational tasks daily. This includes data entry of orders, processing daily invoices, generating picklists, and updating inventory tracking platforms so our digital and physical showrooms remain perfectly synchronized.

• The Ultimate Teammate: We win and lose as a collective unit. When needed, you will cross-train and jump in to assist other departments (such as photography, warehouse, staging, or logistics) to ensure smooth overall store operations and that final customer deliverables are met seamlessly.

• Showroom Stewardship: Collaborate to ensure our massive showroom looks spectacular, staged to spark the imagination of every visitor.

• You hate "Hard Sales." You’d rather solve a client's problem and build a long-term relationship than pressure them into a purchase.

• You possess strong administrative discipline. You don't mind transitioning from a fun customer conversation to sitting at a computer to execute flawless data entry and logistics coordination.

• You are professional and tech-savvy. You can comfortably navigate Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets) and learn modern retail apps with ease.
