Summary
Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, restrooms, and public spaces, as well as performing floor care and snow removal.
Job Description
SET PAY RATE: $17.75/ Hour
Shift: Friday- Sunday 10:00 pm- 5:30 am
Under the supervision of the Project Manager and on-site Supervisor, the Custodian performs general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure that assigned facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Secondary supervision is provided by the Contracts Administrator.
What you will do
- Clean offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
- Empty trash and replenish restroom supplies
- Clean windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other building surfaces
- Spot clean carpets and perform floor care as needed
- Assist with furniture setup and breakdown for special events
- Remove snow and ice from walkways (when required)
- Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards
- Follow all safety policies and contract requirements
