Summary
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned locations at Ft. Benning, including restrooms, offices, and break rooms. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, trash removal, and performing advanced floor care such as stripping and waxing.
Job Description
A Custodian with Powerworks Industries, Inc. (PWI) at Ft. Benning is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the assigned locations mandated by the PWI Ft. Benning Contract. He/she will clean and assist the Lead Worker and Supervisor in the cleaning and maintenance of all designated areas.
The Custodian responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and break rooms
- Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping
- Empty trash cans, clean windows, spot clean walls, and restock restroom supplies
- Application of advanced floor care techniques to the campus floor, as needed
- Top Scrub, strip, and wax hard floors
- Aid in all areas assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements Education & Experience •High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); preferred •Minimum 3 months of custodial experience
