Custodian

Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Alturas - Tucson, AZ, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $16.00Hourly, Job Shift: Evening (4:30pm - 8:30pm), Job Category: Facilities, We are looking for part time Custodians. The Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned buildings and areas clean and safe. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean, sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors, stairways, and corridors to ensure cleanliness.
Identify cleaning problems and determine type of chemicals and equipment necessary for specific cleaning tasks.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of housekeeping equipment.
Clean and wash windows inside and out.
Remove debris for safety from entrance and exits to buildings.
Check security system of building to ensure all windows and doors are locked.
Safely operate various cleaning tools including but not limited to: broom, brush, mop, bucket, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor cleaners, scrubbing machines, and high speed floor buffer.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have 3 months of custodial work experience.

Additional Requirements:

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
