Qualifications: Job Summary:

WaTiki Indoor Waterpark is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Deep Cleaning Technician to join our team. This position is critical to ensuring the health, safety, and overall experience of our guests by maintaining the highest cleanliness standards of all indoor waterpark flooring surfaces, including wet areas, PIP floor, concrete, and locker rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and deep cleaning of all flooring surfaces throughout the waterpark, including:

Pools, Locker room, Changing area, Entryways and walkway, Food court floor areas, Slides, Landings and steps, Exterior entry ways, Other areas as directed by the Maintenance Engineer

Job Qualifications:

Operate commercial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, wet vacuums, pressure washers, squeegees, etc.)

Safely handle and apply floor-safe cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and facility guidelines

Follow strict safety and sanitation protocols to prevent slips, falls, and contamination

Report any floor damage, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately

Maintain proper signage during cleaning to ensure guest and staff safety

Assist with periodic cleaning projects and seasonal deep-cleaning tasks as assigned

Work effectively as part of the facilities team, supporting other departments as needed

Previous experience with commercial or industrial floor cleaning preferred (waterpark, gym, pool, or hospitality environment a plus)

Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment (tile, non-slip surfaces, etc.)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in warm, humid environments

Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The schedule will change depending on the season.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness

Must be at least 18 years old
