CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. This vital role involves operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to acquire diagnostic images of patients' internal structures
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images, following physician orders and safety protocols
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Review images for quality and clarity, and make adjustments as necessary
- Document patient information and imaging procedures accurately in medical records
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with specialization in CT
- Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
