Credit Analyst

What You’ll Do:

You are a valued member of the broader Loan Review team, relied upon to complete risk assessment analysis of various types.  Your strong combination of interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills make you a valued resource and partner to internal and external clients.

Key Accountabilities:

• Loan Review Production and Effectiveness
• Complete loan reviews timely and accurately
• Understand and analyze credit information on a variety of loan types
• Assess and compare attributes of a credit relationship to loan risk rating definitions
• Provide well-supported rating recommendations
• Efficiently prepare accurate financial statement spreads for reviews and new loan proposals

• Operational Effectiveness
• Efficiently prepare effective written analysis
• Effectively support multiple relationships with internal and external stakeholders

QualificationsThis position is posted for Lee’s Summit, however the permanent work location is flexible, and other locations will be considered. Initial training will be conducted in Lee’s Summit.
You’ve Got This:        

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of financial statement analysis experience preferred
• Solid ability to handle confidential information appropriately and with integrity
• Must be conscientious regarding detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks
• Commitment to the organization’s core values
• Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Relationship Building - Ability to develop and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Ability to influence others through informal leadership.
  • Communication – Strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with multiple levels of the organization (internally and externally).
  • Problem Solving – Ability to identify a problems root cause and drive to resolution. Ability to escalate where appropriate and ensure follow through.
  • Business Acumen-Basic understanding of the Banking industry and business environment both internally and externally.
