Summary/Objective

Supports First Credit Union’s marketing efforts through creative design, social media content creation, digital communications, and campaign support. The position is responsible for bringing the First Credit Union brand to life across digital and print channels by developing engaging, on-brand visual content and social media experiences that connect with current and prospective members. Professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and a positive attitude are absolute essentials of the position.

Essential Functions

Develop and produce creative assets and visual content for digital, print, social media, email, website, statement messages, branch, campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives while maintaining First Credit Union’s brand standards.
Create, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content across First Credit Union’s platforms, including graphics, short-form video, photography, and written content.
Support digital marketing and integrated campaigns through website updates, digital advertising, email marketing, content development, and creative production across multiple channels.
Monitor and report on social media and content performance, using insights to identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
Establish and maintain working relationships with third-party vendors, including print shops, advertising agencies, media agencies, and specialty digital partners.
Provide creative and logistical support for community events, sponsorships, promotions, and other marketing initiatives, including collateral distribution and supply requests for branch locations, select employer groups (SEGs), and special events.
Participate in department meetings, committees, training, seminars, and cross-functional initiatives and support special projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as assigned.
Ensure marketing activities comply with applicable regulations and First Credit Union policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Support and take ownership of special projects, process improvements, campaigns, and other initiatives as assigned.

Competencies

Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong creative skills and eye for design.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical presence in the office setting is required.

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Ability to work 40 hours; Monday – Friday.

Travel

Periodic travel to other FCU locations may be required.
Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, graphic design or related field or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience in marketing for financial institution is highly desirable.
Experience with various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content management systems.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.
