Crane Operator - Beaumont, TX (night shift)

Location: Exxon Refinery - Beaumont, TX 

Project Duration: October 5, 2026 – approximately October 26, 2026

Shift: Nights

We are currently seeking experienced Crane Operators to support an upcoming turnaround project at the Exxon Refinery in Beaumont, Texas. This is a temporary project-based opportunity expected to run from approximately October 5 through October 26, 2026.

The position will primarily involve operating mobile cranes rated at 100 tons and under, with some part-time overhead crane operation as needed.

We are looking for dependable, safety-focused operators with industrial, refinery, or turnaround experience who can safely and efficiently support lifting operations on the night shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate cranes with capacities of 100 tons and under to support turnaround activities.
• Perform lifting and rigging operations in accordance with approved lift plans and site requirements.
• Operate overhead cranes on a part-time basis as needed.
• Inspect crane equipment and work areas before and during operations.
• Follow proper load-handling, signaling, and communication procedures.
• Work closely with riggers, signal persons, and other craft personnel to safely position and move materials and equipment.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, structures, and potential hazards.
• Follow all refinery, project, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Immediately report equipment issues, unsafe conditions, or potential hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the turnaround project.

Qualifications

• Previous crane operating experience in a refinery, petrochemical, industrial construction, or turnaround environment preferred.
• Experience operating cranes with capacities of 100 tons and under.
• Experience operating overhead cranes preferred.
• Current crane operator certification/qualification as required by applicable standards and site requirements.
• Knowledge of safe crane operation, load handling, signaling, and rigging practices.
• Ability to read and understand lift plans and follow instructions from qualified personnel.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with riggers, signal persons, and other members of the turnaround team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be available to work night shift for the duration of the project.
• Must be able to pass all required site safety training, background requirements, and drug screening.
