About the Role:

As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals, families, and groups to improve their mental health and overall well-being. You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate life transitions, manage emotional challenges, and develop coping strategies. Your work will involve assessing clients' mental health status, creating treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and contribute to crisis intervention efforts when necessary. Ultimately, your goal is to empower clients to achieve healthier behavioral patterns and improved quality of life through compassionate and professional therapeutic support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or specialized training in group therapy, family therapy, or anger management.
• Experience working with clients undergoing significant life transitions or trauma recovery.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Additional credentials such as Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and digital mental health tools.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities including psychotherapy and behavioral health techniques.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
• Implement anger management and coping strategies to assist clients in managing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Document client progress, maintain confidential records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.

The required skills such as Counseling Psychology and Mental Health Counseling are essential for conducting accurate assessments and delivering effective psychotherapy tailored to client needs. Group Therapy and Family Therapy skills enable the therapist to facilitate sessions that address relational dynamics and promote collective healing. Crisis Intervention and Anger Management skills are critical for providing immediate support and teaching clients strategies to manage acute emotional distress. Life Transitions expertise helps the therapist guide clients through significant changes, fostering resilience and adaptation.
