🧭 About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President, Procurement Transformation & Advisory who will be a senior practice leader responsible for defining and executing the firm's procurement consulting strategy, shaping market-leading service offerings, driving revenue growth, and advising executive leadership teams on procurement transformation, digital procurement, data strategy, and AI-enabled value creation. This executive leads enterprise procurement transformation initiatives, develops innovative consulting methodologies, and partners with C-suite executives to modernize procurement organizations through technology, analytics, automation, and intelligent operating models.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the strategic vision and growth strategy for the Procurement Transformation & Advisory practice.
• Establish market-leading capabilities across procurement transformation, digital procurement, data strategy, and AI-enabled procurement services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CPOs, CFOs, COOs, CEOs, and executive leadership teams on enterprise procurement transformation initiatives.
• Develop and enhance procurement transformation methodologies, frameworks, and intellectual property that differentiate the firm's consulting offerings.
• Guide clients in designing future-state procurement organizations that align with business strategy and digital transformation objectives.

Procurement Transformation, Data & AI

• Lead complex global procurement transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
• Define leading approaches for procurement maturity assessments, benchmarking, and Target Operating Model design.
• Sponsor large-scale procurement operating model modernization initiatives that improve efficiency, governance, and business value.
• Drive innovation across:
  • Procurement technology strategy
  • Procurement analytics and business intelligence
  • Data modernization and governance
  • Generative AI (GenAI) applications
  • Agentic procurement
  • Autonomous procurement
  • Digital workforce solutions
  • Cognitive sourcing platforms
• Develop strategic perspectives on intelligent procurement organizations, AI governance, and the future of procurement operating models.

Commercial & Market Leadership

• Own annual sales, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives for the consulting practice.
• Lead strategic client pursuits, executive presentations, and enterprise transformation engagements.
• Develop strategic partnerships with leading procurement technology, data, and AI solution providers.
• Identify emerging market trends and create innovative service offerings that address evolving client needs.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, executive forums, and client events while strengthening the organization's market presence and thought leadership.

People Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Procurement Transformation & Advisory team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and client excellence.
• Sponsor leadership development, succession planning, and professional growth across the consulting practice.
• Promote knowledge sharing and the development of reusable methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Thought Leadership

• Publish and present thought leadership on procurement transformation, digital procurement, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes to continuously evolve the firm's consulting capabilities.
• Influence the future direction of procurement consulting through innovative ideas and strategic insights.

Qualifications

💼Required and 📌Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of consulting and procurement leadership experience. 
• Deep executive-level expertise across procurement strategy, TOM design, digital procurement, data strategy, analytics, and AI. 
• Significant experience leading global procurement transformation and technology-enabled change programs. 
• Recognized industry authority in procurement modernization and AI-enabled procurement. 
• Demonstrated success building, scaling, and commercializing consulting offerings. 
• Strong network across procurement leaders, technology providers, and industry analysts. 
• Exceptional executive presence, communication skills, and commercial acumen. 
• The ability to think strategically about business and industry trends in procurement and use analytical, problem-solving techniques to break down complex issues 
• A track record of customer focused engagements from a consulting background delivering quality work for clients, demonstrating an understanding of the client's professional standards and maintaining respectful client relationships. 
• A track record in business development, commercial or sales. 

Additional Information

💵 Compensation Disclosure

The base salary range for this position is $250K - $300K annually. This range reflects the base pay that we reasonably expect to offer for the role across our hiring locations.

Final compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to:

• Geographic location (state and city of residence)
• Overall professional experience
• Directly relevant experience
• Education and certifications
• Industry knowledge and expertise
• Skills and competencies

In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, or incentive pay, or commissions, which are not included in the listed base salary range.
